Pixi by Petra Capsule Review

Finally found the time to review the Natural Contour Powder, Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Mineral Contour and Matte Lustre Lipstick in Honey Bare from Pixi's Fall Winter Collection 2015 (Better late than never!).

This buildable, matte powder effortlessly contours the face, sculpting and defining features to perfection.

My Review
I love how pigmented and blendable this matte contour powder is. A little goes a long way so apply this product with a light hand and blend thoroughly. The best part? The brown powder is a neutral shade with zero warm undertones so it's perfect for contouring dark to pale skin tones. You won't end up looking like an oompa loompa like most contour powders do!

Pucker up with this full-coverage, adjustable-finish lipstick for long lasting, vivid lip colour with a plumping effect. The ultimate in multi-tasking lip enhancement, this demi-matte lipstick conditions, plumps and protects lips while giving long lasting, intense colour. Added peptides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins C & E help to create fuller, smoother looking lips.

My Review
This lipstick has a very creamy satin finish. Pigmentation is great although not completely opaque since it's not a matte lipstick. Application is a breeze with its creamy and moisturizing formula. Staying power is around 3 hours before I need to re-apply. This is a great option if you're looking for an everyday, creamy nude lipstick that won't wash you out.

Six silky, coordinated, must-have shades to use together or solo plus a double-ended sponge applicator for fast & fuss-free application.

What it is formulated to do:
Look fresh in moments with these pretty palettes! Mineral formula reflects light away from imperfections while gemstone-inspired tones enhance your natural eye beauty. Shades specifically coordinated for foolproof eye enhancement.

Beneficial ingredients and what they do:
Vitamin E nourishes and protects delicate skin around the eye

My Review
I love how pigmented and blendable the formulation is. I can use the eyeshadows without primer but you might need to use one if you have oily lids for it to last the whole day. The colors are great for creating day-night looks. If you're on the hunt for an affordable, pigmented, value-for-money eyeshadow palette then I highly suggest you try the Mesmerizing Mineral Palette range from Pixi. You'll definitely get your money's worth!
