Lime Crime Lipstick Review

Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick Review in Poisonberry and Centrifuschia

Bored with the usual lip colors that you own? Lime Crime Lipsticks are Bold. Opaque and Recklessly loaded with pigment. For lips that speak louder than words. Read on for my review! ;)

We don't have Lime Crime in the Philippines so I got these from Pretty Goddess Online Shop.  They have stores in ATC, Trinoma and Rockwell. They sell lots of cosmetic brands that I like at reasonable prices and they have really good customer service also.

Price Php 800 each

Centrifuschia Review
Centrifuschia is a very pigmented vibrant rich fuschia that does not look like any other hot pink lipstick I've tried.  It is probably one of the best vibrant pink lipstick you will ever own. I like that it's undertone is not as blue as most pinks out there, it is a bit darker/richer in color and pigmentation and it's actually more magenta in real life. A more accurate representation of the color would be the swatches on my arm above. It glides on really smooth and creamy and has very good lasting power. It did not dry out my lips and it left some staining when I tried to wipe it off. These are very opaque and long lasting and I am very impressed with how well this performed considering its creamy formulation.

Poisonberry Review
Poisonberry is a dark berry-purple with a metallic sheen/finish. This is a very unique shade and finish and I recommend exfoliating and moisturizing your lips thoroughly prior to using this since it can highlight any lines/imperfections on the lips. Pigmentation-wise this is not as opaque as Centrifuschia and it took me more swipes to get to the color that I wanted. It tends to apply unevenly and settles into fine lines and dead skin. It might be best to use this over a lip pencil to increase lasting power since this one needed more touch-ups than Centrifuschia and smears quite easily. I really love this lipstick though since the color is so unique and pretty, I just wish they made the formulation more like Centrifuschia. I will still repurchase this if I run out due to the uniqueness of the shade and I like how it looks on me.

I already wore this lipstick in my previous post: Violeta

Overall Take

If you're tired of the run-of-the-mill lip colors and you're itching to experiment with new and bolder shades- Lime Crime opaque lipsticks are definitely a good option! They're very affordable and the packaging is so adorable.

I highly recommend these and I can't wait to try out other shades!

Take care! xx
